About Mana Music Centre

The Mana Music Centre Incorporated was set up over 40 years ago. We are an out of hours music centre partially funded by the Ministry of Education. The registered office of the Centre is Maraeroa School, Driver Crescent, Porirua, and we also offer some lessons through Discovery School, Whitby.

Mana Music Centre is registered with Charities Services, an organisation supporting charities in New Zealand for stronger communities.

The primary objectives of the Centre are:

1. To promote and forward the interests and welfare of the Centre in Porirua and elsewhere within New Zealand.

2. To teach children to learn about, enjoy and appreciate music through learning to play an instrument or learning about music.

3. To ensure the music tuition is as affordable and accessible as possible.
